ToothedMammal Posted August 3, 2025 Report Posted August 3, 2025 I'm just curious about that since I read that the seasons will be different depending on whether you're close to the poles/equator, and I thought it'd be neat if the day/night cycle changed in a similar way. Also wondering if the sun stays in the sky for months on end like in the IRL arctic/antarctic circle, does that mean there's months with now drifter spawns (outside of storms/caves)
gilt-kutabe Posted August 3, 2025 Report Posted August 3, 2025 @ToothedMammal Days get shorter in the winter and longer in the summer. In the arctic, the sun doesn’t set in summer and doesn’t rise in winter, with a bit of a transitional period in between. Idk if the hemisphere you’re in changes anything, though, but latitude definitely changes things.
