Rusty toothed nail removal issue

Hi I'm playing a creative world with my daughter and I placed a Rusty toothed rail in the world and now I cannot remove it. I dont know if its from a mod or the base game as searches reveal very little about the item. I cannot target it with anything.

So any help would be appreciated.

It seems like there can be little to no hitbox; in some cases, there is a tiny hitbox, and in other cases, there is basically no hitbox. I'm kinda new to the game, but I can see if there are any ways to remove it.

Edit: I should also mention that I am on the latest version (1.20.12 stable), without any mods.

Edit 2: I'm submitting of video of me removing the rusty toothed rail. I can find another way, but for now, using a stone blasting bomb and lighting it with a torch will make it go away. If you placed it near some important structures, then I can see another way to remove it.

I don't know how to help really, sorry - just adding in that this item in particular is kind of in a half-implemented state.
There's a certain story location where I assume these are supposed to be used for decoration for spoilery reasons, but they aren't actually there.

EDIT: I wonder if you could world edit select them and then erase them.
