Vintage story data received launching client instance not working

Hello, I'm trying to play multiplayer and it keeps freezing up near this message. I'm not tech savvy and I don't know what to do. I tried allowing it through firewall and a few other things but it keeps showing up with the same result

 

If anyone could help me in a simple way, I'd appreciate it!

How long are you waiting on it? That step takes the longest for me but it eventually loads in after a minute or two.

Hi, my friend has the same problem, he waits for 10 minutes and  next then the game crashes
