Burian Posted August 25, 2025 Report Posted August 25, 2025 (edited) Hello fellow Vintage Story enjoyers! As the title says, I can't start the server anymore. It always gives me "Status: Timeout" when i hit the Start Server Button. What I have done: - Stopped the Server - Changed Server Version to 1.21.0 - returned to the Game Server Menu and hit Start Server button --> Since over an hour I get this message. Did I do anything wrong? On Discord I see people saying they also use Vintage Hosting and they can play just fine. When I downgrade the Server back to 1.20.12 I can start the Server again, so I am not sure what's going on here... I'd be happy if anyone could help me fix this! faat32 Posted August 26, 2025 Report Posted August 26, 2025 Same here, but when i start it, the log show the good version, no error but the log close itself and i can't log into the server...so roll back to 1.20.12.
Burian Posted August 27, 2025 Author Report Posted August 27, 2025 Update: I also sent in a ticket to the devs regarding this. They did respond fairly quickly and solved the issue on their end. Luckily nothing I did wrong. We are now able to play on the newest version.
