MeggyMegs Posted September 16, 2025 Report Posted September 16, 2025 So I was trying to hurry and build my greenhouse before the temp dropped below 0c, but it hit -1 for like 5 minutes before I was able to transfer them. Once I got them into the greenhouse they weren't buzzing around, which I'm assuming indicates that they aren't swarming anymore? Do I now have to wait for winter to be over before they start populating the empty skeps?

No, just just hit a temporary reset when it dipped below zero. https://wiki.vintagestory.at/Beekeeping#Temperature Add LOTS of flowers around the skep, and then wait for the spawn time to hit again. https://wiki.vintagestory.at/Beekeeping#Propagating_Bee_Populations Depending on the climate where you are, the greenhouse buff may or may not be enough to carry you through winter. Lots to look forward to though when Spring comes! Professor Dragon. Edited September 16, 2025 by Professor Dragon 1

I just need a little bit more beeswax before winter hits full swing. And they are doing their thing now, so I'm happy! Thanks for the reply! 1

They always still did that when I moved them and placed them back down. But I went on a mining trip and came back and they were back to what I thought they should be. Thank you for the reply! 2
