This is my first time playing the game after a long time not playing minecraft, and I built this to keep me busy during my quite harsh winter. This is a very small castle with only the first store done at the moment. Probably a lot of finish is needed, plus the need for a park/garden. And yes, Tsaro Beloy is the name of the place. At the time of the pic it's late March, soon I will venture south to get flax and building work will truly resume next October. 9 2

Probably not the best castle out there and unfortunately significantly smaller than what I planned at first, but I was very happy to return to it after discovering the resonance archives. 13 3

Blue_Helix Posted February 18 Author Report Posted February 18 I finally completed the whole exterior in creative, keeping the central survival building as it is and expanding it. I might correct a few things as time goes on but the general idea is here. The interior is as empty as requested by the minecraft tradition of not doing it, even if it would be a cool survival let's play to start with this build as a base and arrange its interior. Also, I don't know if something like this exist in the Vintage Story community, but I might be interested in long standing (at least several months, more like a year) building focused servers where a team decide to take on a big project and everyone slowing progress it. 5 3
Lollipocket Posted February 20 Report Posted February 20 Delightfull chiselwork. If you allow me, I might suggest you try bringing out the roof ridges a bit, if not a whole block. That would look phenomenal with those carved columns supports! And that long-standing building server sounds pretty fun! (to me at least lol)

(to me at least lol) For what you're suggesting, I would have to redo the roof entirely by bringing it one block higher. That could indeed work. For building focused servers, I'm affraid I have never seen any appearance of one on the forums, and I'm not feeling capable of managing an community, so I don't really know what to do on that front. Yes, for the sake of my fingers, I use QP chisel tools, and a daily hand exercise routine to prevent tendonitis. The blue block is from my mod. Thanks! In creative mode, it took me around 20 hours for the whole castle. I almost didn't use world edit.
