Thronkus Badonkus Posted September 22, 2025 Report Posted September 22, 2025 Every promising RP server I see seems to be loaded fully with mods, but unfortunately my computer is not very great so I can't run them. If there is an entirely vanilla oriented RP server, I would be stoked! If there are none, that's alright. I just wanted to know if maybe there were any out there.

I guess not, vanilla is just vanilla, without mods it can´t be rp
YordaEatsMelon Posted September 23, 2025 Report Posted September 23, 2025 You can still role play in an unmodded server; I and my friends do it in LAN multiplayer regularly. It just won't have all the extras seen in fancy servers.
Inflectus Posted September 23, 2025 Report Posted September 23, 2025 (edited) I don't know of any public roleplay servers that are unmodded and have a consistent playerbase, personally, but I only really look at the bigger/more active public servers. It might be possible and sustainable without major content mods, but you'll still find yourself hurting to grow and create a consistent playerbase to actually roleplay with unless you use essentials like RP Basics (proximity chat, nicknames and text formatting), Itemizer (ability to rename and redefine descriptions for items, for roleplay flavor) and a handful of others. This. ^ It's probably possible to find servers that are pretty light on mods though. Not certain what you would consider light on mods, but I guess that's something you'll need to look around for.
