Opened the server exe "to see what it does" and now I can't host any ad-hoc multiplayer games.

Every time I try to open a singleplayer world to LAN, it now gives me "An Exception was thrown while executing Command: Address already in use. Check error log for more detail." in the chat. I don't know where to find this error log or how to get rid of whatever incomplete server was created. Can someone please give me a hand?

I have tried deleting all the Vintage Story files I can find and reinstalling from scratch, but the issue persists.

I'm on Mint Cinnamon, but I can usually parse where the "Windows versions" of files would be.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

The server is running, so you need to stop it. Either restart your computer, or open Mint's equivalent of the task manager to kill the server. Or "killall Vintage" in a terminal would probably do the trick.
