Seth Konkol Posted March 1 Report Posted March 1 Can I use this on my dedicated server if I give you credit? This is such an amazing map and would work very well for my fantasy theme and allow factions to actually have their own territories 1

Yikes! Sorry to hear that. I'll see if I can replicate it my end.. could be due to updates, or could just be a download issue.
Fuddgall Posted March 8 Report Posted March 8 howdy. still fairly new to the game. 24 hours. just installed this and it says it's corrupted - the game can't fix it. google has nothing. any tips?

All I can think of at this point would be to try re-downloading the zip files, there may have been some corruption there, I'm unable to replicate the problem
Ericthener Posted March 11 Report Posted March 11 now I only need a 1:10 version of this, as it stands this one is about 1:666, but im sure for that the mod you used needs to mature alot. especially with the vegetation and rock placement
Vellyd Posted March 22 Report Posted March 22 I just spent some time messing around with ratios to figure out coordinates to places around the map (so you don't just have to fly or tp randomly and figure out where you are), and I've got it pretty accurate. I'll be working on a coordinate map image, but for now, I can provide coords to requested places. Also, the map is very impressive and from what I've seen, I've always been a fan of Earth maps on MC but this is even better. Normally I like to try to build structures to have kingdoms in their respective places, but some areas (Italy for instance) would have mountains covering 90% of the land that were essentially spikes. This version though makes it more buildable with the hills instead, but still has amazing mountains where truly expected. Great work!

aurora184 Posted March 31 Report Posted March 31 For anyone interested, I'm hosting this on my server with an accurate real-world clock calibrated to CST/CDT (Currently -05:00). https://vintagestory.spawningpool.net Also, have you modified the metal deposits or other spawns in world? I'm having a hell of a time finding iron 1
aurora184 Posted April 4 Report Posted April 4 So I setup base on the west coast of the African continent in Gambia, and went straight west to hit the Americas. My server decided to generate an area that may not have been filled in during creation? This is just off of the Dominican Republic.

I can promise the entire map was generated... most boring day of my life going over it all. But every square inch was done, so I have no idea why it would generate something there
aurora184 Posted April 7 Report Posted April 7 Had the same issue in parts of South America. My view distance was set to 1k so I'm wondering if it was the server not keeping up or something, but just be on the lookout for this. 1
