Broccoli Clock Posted December 31, 2025 Report Posted December 31, 2025 From the wiki: https://wiki.vintagestory.at/Fence Quote Since update 1.16.0, the hitbox of fences is exactly one and a half blocks high, while also generally disallowing all creatures from stepping on them. This impedes both wolves leaping over fences, as well as entities of any kind stepping over the fence from the same height or above. However it recommanded to place your enclosure on a flat terrain far from a terrain elevation because predators could leap from there to land inside. That page also shows three images.. Stone Fence: https://wiki.vintagestory.at/File:Stone-enclosure.png Wooden Fence: https://wiki.vintagestory.at/File:Wooden-enclosure.png Rough Hewn Fence: https://wiki.vintagestory.at/File:Rough-hewn-enclosure.png Interestingly the demonstration for the hewn fence, despite being visually larger, is the one used to protect crops, the wooden and stone fences are shown for goats and chickens respectively.
