ijkdenem Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 i am thinking something like boil 4x water+ 2x salt+ 2x bones = soup stock. add to any soup meal in place of the water to double the satiety of the meal! this gives us more uses for bones and salt. if no salt substitute it with half amount of fat. this would be great early game all the way to late game.
ijkdenem Posted February 26 Author Report Posted February 26 i personally get way to many bones. so this would help a lot with the clutter and the meal prep.
Facethief Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 I’m not too sure about this- there is only one recipe that currently uses water, and if you made it with the most nutritionally dense ingredients, it would give 2 * (450 * 3) satiety points, for a whopping 2700 calories per serving. Made with 2 redmeat and a turnip, it would still give more satiety than a normal full redmeat stew, for no extra hunting cost and 2 salt- essentally a free meat doubler once you have access to salt. I’d probably prefer either a) a lower bonus (around 1.2 times), b) a flat satiety amount from one serving of broth, or c) somehow make broth take a lot of fuel to make (not too sure about this one). 1
