got a few things i found that i wanna suggest. video link for where they are from below. very informative. {Cold-Hardy Crops You Can Grow Through the Winter} kale(russian varieties), red veined sorrel, lettuce, tatsoi, carrots, spinach, swiss chard, claytonia, arugula, mustard greens, parsley, cilantro, yukina savoy, mizuna, mache (lingonberry, crowberry, bearberry, these 3 grow in cold climes as said by LadyWYT)

i got a list of fruits both on trees and on shrubs and some grains that i hope get added to the game. almost all of the are growable in poor soil and some are even really cold resistant. link for video of where i got info for some of the things i suggested here. the video seemed to fit given the game vintage story is like an apocalypse type game. {grains} barley(make bread or barley tea), oats, sorghum, quinoa, buckwheat(cold resistant i believe) {fruits} serviceberry, persimmon, fig, pawpaw, jujube, medlar, aronia(aka black choke berry, also cold resistant), cornelian cherry, elderberry, tree tomato(aka tamarillo/year round harvests), june plum, quince, golden melon, juniper berry(Some juniper berries are edible and safe to eat in small amounts as a spice), cecropi(aka gummi worm fruit), papaya, praying hands banana, muscadine grapes(aka the grape of the south), cabernet grapes, merlot grapes, ground cherry, blackberry, crabapple, (lingonberry, crowberry, bearberry, these 3 grow in cold climes as said by LadyWYT) {veggies} cucumber(so we can make REAL pickles), squash (various kinds cuz there are many), * winter melon, winged bean(all parts edible+high in protein), yampi(also known as indian yam), rutabaga, boniato(aka cuban/caribbean sweet potato), satsumaimo(aka japanese sweet potato), lotus root, yellow yam, white pumpkin(stores for longer than orange), taro root, tomatillos, asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, peppers(mix of spicy/non spicy) *{NUTS} coconut, water chestnut, cashews+the cashew fruit(the cashew must be cooked before it is safe to eat but the fruit is edible as fruit/juice/jams/liquor so this is a 2 in 1 deal + a new tree), black walnut trees + nuts *{OTHER CATEGORY/things that grow like reeds and stuff} tea leaves (it would be cool to make tea), moringa tree (edible leaves/ground up and used as a energy boosting tea and other things), watercress(grows quick AND can be grown in watery areas like rice/ animals also like it so can be used to bait herbivores to the area if there is not many), chaya(aka mexican tree spinach) stinging nettles(cooked are edible like spinach), sassafras(edible tree roots used to make rootbeer), milkweed(shoots/buds/pods boiled like ocra), staghorn sumac trees(cone shaped red edible parts taste like lemonade/looks kinda like amaranth growing on a tree), rhubarb *{EDIBLE FLOWERS} hostas, chicory, dandylions(both used roots as coffee substitutes), rosehips(you get flowers and a food), daylily(2 colored flower cooked tastes like mix of green bean/onion) {HERBS/SPICES} spice bush(dried then ground up berries became allspice and twigs were brewed in tea)

saw this video on youtube of a bunch of awesome trees you might want to consider adding to various biomes in future updates. the first one is a favorite of mine so far. the fourth can produce food/drink if it is processed properly. long story short many cool trees that would be cool to see in the game.

please add wattle doors and wattle fences. the wattle gates are cool but making a door out of 2 of the gets annoying REALLY fast when you wanna quickly enter or exit a building and have to open AND close 2 things EVERYTIME!!! besides they are cheap to make so even the bigger counterparts still won't cost that much to build. also let us please attach to walls so we can use them as decorative shutters for windows. something like the picture below but with the LOOK of the CURRENT wattle gates that are in the game. these are just suggestions but i bet others would love to see this in the game too. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK YOU GUYS!!! WE ALL CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE NEXT GREAT UPDATE!!!

the youtube video i watched went thru the steps on how to make the fertilizer 2 ways. a liquid and a compost. composts in like 48 hours but the liquid takes around i think 4 weeks or so to get the stinky brown good juice. tho probably less if you blend the leaves first or at least mince them a bit.

its just a thought but still they would have been around in that time period so its not farfetched or lore inaccurate to have those classes show up at SOME point in the future.

honestly if you are doing a ROLEPLAYING SERVER then yes class exclusive makes sense BUT if just normal MULTIPLAYER then no cuz then you might screw yourself out of things you could really need to nave fun or need to survive.

hence why i said MEDICINE and FERTILIZER not FOOD. also its toxic if you eat a lot not if you eat sparingly.

Comfrey is used topically as an herbal remedy or utilized as an organic garden fertilizer. Always apply comfrey externally; never ingest it, as the plant contains pyrrolizidine alkaloids that can cause severe liver damage. For Medicinal/Topical Use (possible use in a new poultice recipe maybe?) What it does: Traditionally applied to soothe muscle aches, sprains, bruises, and osteoarthritis. How to apply: Use it as a ready-made commercial cream or ointment. Apply a thin layer to unbroken skin for a maximum of 10 consecutive days. Homemade poultice: Steep fresh, crushed leaves in hot water, allow them to cool slightly, and wrap the moist foliage in a clean cloth. Apply this to the affected area, but never use it on broken skin or open wounds. For Garden Use (can be adapted to a barrel for larger yields) Plant feed: Submerge roughly 1 kg of chopped comfrey leaves in 15 liters of water in a covered bucket. Let it steep for 4 to 6 weeks until it creates a nutrient-rich—and strongly smelling—brown liquid fertilizer. Compost activator: Layer fresh or bruised comfrey leaves into your compost heap. The leaves are high in nitrogen and will encourage bacterial action to speed up the composting process. Mulch: Chop the leaves and spread a 5 cm layer on the surface of the soil around heavy-feeding plants or young fruit trees to act as a nutrient-rich, moisture-retaining mulch. P.S. I would LOVE to see more herbs in this game. heck i wanna see an Apothecary or Herbalist class added to the classes. maybe they get bonuses to seed yields and medicine potency on any meds made by their class. maybe even a Pharmacist class to make certain meds others can't. plus has comfrey has flowers so bees will like it too.
