SuicideSwifty Posted Thursday at 06:49 PM Report Posted Thursday at 06:49 PM (edited) Does the growth timer for fruit tree cuttings pause when the temperature drops below the minimum temperature even in a greenhouse? For example if I plant an orange tree with a minimum temperature of 6 degrees and put it in a greenhouse, to me that says it can be planted so long as it's 1 degree or warmer. Or is it a waste of time to plant it until the coldest temperature is above their minimum? Also what effect does the chunk being unloaded have on the timer? I'm playing in a multiplayer server and can't really just stay on in once place all day everyday waiting for the trees to grow. Edited Thursday at 06:50 PM by SuicideSwifty
PoisonedPawn777 Posted Thursday at 09:22 PM Report Posted Thursday at 09:22 PM Greenhouses will have a temperature effect on all aspects of fruit trees. If outside temp falls below 1 it will kill the orange tree in the greenhouse though. Timers progress even in unloaded chunks, no need to stick nearby.
