Honey Preserved Meat

So I know that in Rome they used to preserve meats in honey, from what I understand it's pretty simple even irl so might be something to see if can be added, I'd assume in a barrel I think it would be fun

I'd like to see this too! A quick plug for the butchering mod, if you don't mind a bit of visceral animal processing. It adds this honey cure with its prime meat, you can add cattails and honey, cure in salt, then smoke it, to add 6 health each time you eat one, The process takes weeks, it's well worth it when you go out adventuring.

I think Expanded Foods adds a feature to make Vintage Beef, but it hasn't been updated in a while.

Would also love to see all sorts of expanded meat preservation mechanics. Maybe a smoking thing that works a bit like blue cheese curing but in reverse?
