New Berry Bushes causing lag

Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue with the update,

While out exploring normally my game runs just fine but around the new berry bushes my game starts to lag pretty hard. Is anyone else facing this issue and is there a possible solution to it. I've been playing on 1.22.0 since my mods haven't been updated yet, though I still got lag playing without mods on the newest version.

It's a known issue. It's nothing unique to berry bushes, but they exacerbate the issue much more than other plants due to a large number of partially transparent textures.
