Dilan Rona Posted June 18 Report Posted June 18 (edited) I've had 2 instances of brown bears entering a cave, or what remotely resembles a shallow cave, and it straight up dissapeared within 5 seconds. First one dissapeared while I was busy hunting it, and the second as I was getting ready to trap it so I can dispatch it. Anyone else having this issue? Edited June 18 by Dilan Rona
Dilan Rona Posted June 18 Author Report Posted June 18 if it was a couple min (15, i'd agree). but I was looking at a bear, and it just straight up dissapeared within 5 seconds of entering a shallow cave (if you can even call it that)
BurgerDaddy Posted June 18 Report Posted June 18 I had this happen recently as well. It is odd because I have chased other animals down into the dark and never had it happen with anything but a bear. Nearly the same exact thing, I had been fighting it up above ground, it ran into a small dead end cave, which I was happy about because I was going to get the kill, then as it neared/hit the wall on the far end it just vanished right in front of me.

Also, i've had bears dissapear with sunlight still available, reaching said bear, and the bear had an overhang of 3 blocks wide, and 1 block deep. the most shallow cave ever. And Yogo does a dissapearing act.
