  1. Which is just as big a problem, and constitutes a loss of material.
  2. the fact that this is still a problem, and only a mod can help fix the problem is quite telling.
  3. did you have more than one ewe in the pen?
  4. Funny enough, that looks like my supply on Yeen's server.
  5. Cases like that with bears that keep showing up, i increase the size of the pit (max distance I can jump I noticed is 5 block gaps.). And I keep collecting them. The bears serve as a source of bushmeat (made better with Expanded foods installed), fat, and hides (for leather). I do the same with the wolves. Tag one, and then run like the wind to the nearest pit to trap them.
  6. I recently went back to a server i play on, and i see that my sailboat disappeared. Only to be told that a few others also lost their sailboats (including me, that makes 3 missing sailboats to my knowledge on the same server). Given that the server is currently running 1.22 RC9, is there anyone else that is having issues with sailboats disappearing? As far as I know, the server never crashed. And there are daily restarts. And the boat was parked at its usual spot. The only thing I did differently the last time I had it was to drop the anchor before logging off. PS: I can't post logs, as the server in question doesnt belong to me, and the server is a vanilla server.
  7. Considering some of the ruins contain gear that could have been used for such in the past, it might actually be planned.
  8. I for one love the cuttings. give everyone a chance to get a berry bush (eventually), i would rather the bushes store per UUID who took a cutting though, as waiting for a year after someone else took their cutting before you get your cutting. and that is assuming someone doesnt get there before you, and you have to wait another year again. The fact that they didnt do the same for propagating cattail, papyrus, tule, horsetail, or any other plants is mildly irritating.
  9. I've yet to get onto tops myself. Everytime I try I'm stuck in a queue. And at 80'th position at the best.
  10. Finally found a solution to my red meat problem. Did eventually resort to trenches, but originally to move trapped Gazelle and goats closer to my base. And over time more got trapped that I rerouted closer to a temp corral. So as of now I'm sitting with 4 large herds. And can actually spend time seeing what I can farm, and what will grow naturally. Either way, I won't be hunting on that server anytime soon again.
  11. I'm on a server, where my base is in an area with lots of Ibex, gazelle, deer and Hyenas. And the problem for me is all the goats, gazelles, and deer are running faster than me, meaning I can never catch up with them, and if they hit water? Game over for my food bar. I have an easier time hunting hyenas for one, and the fact that there is no option for bushmeat stew is rather frustrating.
  12. Can we have bushmeat in meals in vanilla? It can be less nutritional than redmeat. I am well aware of Expanded foods with the bushmeat meals, but not every server has it, or wants to install it.
  13. I'd just as soon use them to fertilise farmland, as with the mechanic from Primitive survival...
  14. Welcome back to Vintage Story.
  15. What you call a mistake is a deliberate decision by others. Even when I got space in my inven, I leave them to ripen. Since the first 2 months is for exploring, and gathering enough copper and tin (after marking possible locations to dig later), I just collect the crops later, and I get the full benifit Besides, if a sow has piglets, I've found that a sow will chase me all the way back to that pit trap. And the piglets generally follow the sow, and gets trapped as well.
