  1. Yea, I did. Steel also. And between the two, I'd sooner craft an anvil than 2 water wheel hubs
  2. Torch holders, torches. basically anything and everything I right click to place against a wall crashes the client.
  3. Joined a server I normally run. And for some reason, no matter what ladder I place, the client hard crashes back to the menu. So I updated from 1.22.3 to 1.22.5, thinking it would solve the problem (similar crashes like that was resolved in the past), only its still hard crashing. Is anyone else having that problem?
  4. Thank you for that gem. only found out in the last week that website existed.
  5. Water wheels is King. Wind power is too inconsistent to be of any good use, when you are knee deep in cleaning up iron bloom or blister steel.
  6. What you said actually makes sense.
  7. What version of the game are you using? What mods do you have installed? Is this on a local map, or on a server? Did you do an upgrade on the game (version 1.22.3 to 1.22.5 for example)? If yes on the last question, was the inven working properly before the upgrade? That should cover most of the troubleshooting steps, @Furtbug.
  8. I managed to make that thing with 3 iron ingots (took some experimenting). Does take a significant hit on the durability of the hammer, but I no longer waste precious metal to smith it anymore. Trick is to start at the middle, and shift everything sideways after smithing one end of the hub, then shift the bits to where you need them. At the end, there will be 9 bits in the centre to take care of, which is a healthy enough safety margin if you accidentally knock off the wrong bit elsewhere.
  9. Actually, there is mods that allow vines to grow now. Wild Vine Grow - Vintage Story Mod DB Saplings Grow Resin/Moss/Vines - Vintage Story Mod DB
  10. Ok, assuming we did both get the same map, your red clay is at the following locations. -32, 106, -47 (Under a layer of dirt, so its not visible) -90, 115, -61 (Mostly under a layer of dirt, but there is a few blocks above ground.) This one is by far the largest deposit of clay. It does happen that the clay spawns with a layer or 2 of dirt, sand or gravel above it (red and blue).
  11. Once you are logged in, you can still play when offline (as long as you dont click logout, or switch to another install of vintage story, say 1.22 to 1.20 for example). Best course of action is a support ticket.
  12. So far, the closest we got to your request is different colour pottery, using a beehive kiln, depending on the amount of hatch doors open. And then there is mods that expand the clay colors as well. Maybe in future we will get what you are asking for in vanilla. Welcome to the forums, and glad you are enjoying the game.
  13. Only happened to me once, and so far, not since. Still its an edge case scenario.
  14. what is your seed, and generator settings? and what mods did you use?
  15. I have the same problem, only in my case, its because of slow networks. The list times out due to lag, and since the total list is 3-5Mb in size, if it doesnt download in 10 seconds, and being ready to display, it will show that.
