Pretty much title, this is a really small suggestion but would make it much easier for people with hearing difficulties (or those that play the game listening to music/youtube) to locate and use bees. With the current system wild bees are very hard to spot visually, and most advice online for locating them in order to fill your first skep is to turn up ambient noise and turn down all other types of sounds in the settings. If a player is deaf or simply hard of hearing however, the only option they have it to manually check trees for beehives which is much harder to spot with current textures compared to similar resources like resin. I am suggesting that as an optional accessibility option in the settings there could be a sort of closed captions like is seen with the "Buzzwords" mod by SpearAndFang, but implemented into the base game. When enabled this setting would indicate to the player visually (the mod uses a "bzzzzt" text) that there are bees within a certain radius, which they must then search for just like if they heard buzzing as they were moving through an area. While this is a problem that can be resolved through mods having a vanilla version of this would make the game more accessible to people with hearing disabilities.

I think they ought to increase the base volume of the wild beehive sound in addition to whatever other accessibility options they add.

I find them almost impossible to hear myself, and I'm not even hard of hearing.

I turned music down to 5% because it is crazy loud, everything else is at 100%, and the sound of a single wild bee hive is easy to miss even when I'm standing right next to one and know what to listen for.

The sound is easily drowned out by rain and wind, too.

I would suggest making bees that can be found near flowers at a distance. I installed Buzzwords in my first world to figure out if I just wasn't hearing them, and it turned out that the problem was that there simply weren't any near any of the locations I regularly went. While there were several hives in one wooded area not too far away, I didn't normally go through there. If you could find bees near flowers that were arriving and departing in the directions of nearby hives, it would serve as a longer-ranged hint to their presence.
