Nugut Posted June 24 Report Posted June 24 Im hosting a modded server for me and my bestie. sometimes randomly most often when exploring new areas or in general traveling my ethernet port will just die like die die. i can't disable it in device manager it prevents my pc from fully shutting down and i need to power cycle or hit the reset button it to get the port working again i have no idea what to do to prevent this other than maybe getting an entirely different ethernet port somehow anyone know anything to help maybe? Also there is nothing in the server console that happens other than it loosing connection to the master server without being able to reestablish it.
JVinny Posted yesterday at 04:21 AM Report Posted yesterday at 04:21 AM Hey, I've been having the same issues with hosting my own server from my single player file. the mods I've been using are apegrapes BetterRuins CarryOn Configlib foodshelves Long-term_food millwright primitive survival vsimgui what seemed to fix the issue was both updating my either net driver, and disabling the following settings through device manager. ARP Offload - Disabled Idle power down restriction - Disabled Interrupt Moderation - Disabled NS offload - Disabled Wake on Magic Packet - Disabled Wake on Magic packet from S5 - Disabled Wake on Pattern Match -- Disabled I am by far no expert on what those settings do, but now I can play without having to restart my computer after my ether net completely shuts down.
