Slim Fandango Posted July 1 Report Posted July 1 (edited) To put it simply 'motor'cycle with a vintage story twist.(Powered with temporal gear type engine) Intended to be a steel tier late game alternate mount option to the beloved Elk. Keeping some of the functionality of the elk such as the saddlebags, lantern mount (inside a headlamp?) and additional equipment mounting locations, an additional requested benefit could include a glider mount attachment for option of flight. Similar to the functionality of the elk, the bike could have 2+ gears to increase speed, with the final gear being the required flight launch speed. Though the benefit of flight sounds fun, just the option for a craftable mount that doesn't wander off 3 chunks away because they snapped their lead would be much appreciated. The crafting of the vehicle would be a multi-step process like creating a frame, power supply, wheels and additional mounting parts that would add a sense of progression and reward, with an added requested benefit of being able to place different pieces of the vehicle to create a decorative shop or factory of sorts. I like the design of the Trin's motorcyle mod from the game Hytale. it's fairly unique and has an almost vintage fighter jet design to the front end that appeals to that sense of flight. I have seen the airships mod, I have not tried it myself yet but I will at some point. This idea is more focused on the alternative ground vehicle point, with the request of flight just being a fun optional/additional request. I also understand this is a major request to make, and mount related things are particularly complex from what I've read. I have little to no experience in any programs needed to know where to begin with something like this. I just wanted to put the idea down in writing and hear from others if anything else similar to this already exists or is in development I may have overlooked. I don't exactly have the pocket cash to fund 100+ hours of dev work so I didn't include the commission tag, but I am open to the conversation and could have some kind of financial reward.
