Phillip Susi Posted July 2 Report Posted July 2 The name Potassium comes from the word potash, which is where it was originally obtained by burning wood and washing the ashes into a pot and boiling off the water. It would be nice to be able to obtain potassium fertilizer this way instead of having to find mineral deposits. 4 1
