Does this visual glitch happen to anyone else?

I don't think this is worth reporting as a bug since I have a few mods installed. Only happens when my computer locks/screen turns off and I come back to the game while it's running. Playing the linux version 1.22.3.

After restart it goes away, it definitely is mod related, just wanted to know if anyone's encountered it before.

Linux is incredibly sensitive to graphics driver versions, in general.  So the first thing I'd try is an update.  Also, most Linux distros struggle more with NVIDIA than with AMD.  (Ask me how I know...)

That looks *incredibly* similar to an ancient issue with Nvidia drivers/cards. I thought all modern desktop environments had worked around that by now though. What DE/distro are you running? The problem was/is that Nvidia GPUs dump VRAM during sleep (you only said display off/lock, but is the system sleeping?) and it doesn't always get filled back in when they wake up, leaving only random noise where all your textures were. On desktop environments, that mostly manifested as wallpapers and some text turning into rainbow static.

Almost definitely not a mod issue, you may be able to fix it by configuring your system to not sleep when VS is open, which may be easier said than done.

it probably was/is a driver issue. im on fedora kde 44, this happened like twice when i went away from the PC and came back as I have a timer for the sleep mode after inactivity. my gpu is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU. that's good to at least find out about this issue now. I do plan to switch to amd at start of next year, so that's another good reason to do it now. I switched to linux like a month ago so I'm still learning the quirks of it right now. Also i very recently got the game so I wasn't sure what bugged textures would normally look like if it were a mod issue. but thanks letting me know this is a known issue. After updating the drivers it did not come up again after testing it out, but it might be that it only dumps the VRAM after some delay in the sleep mode.
