Tyraenez Posted July 31 Report Posted July 31 Hey there! new to the game and trying to speed up crop growth, found this in the world config commands but am unsure how exactly it works, any advice?
Rainbow Fresh Posted July 31 Report Posted July 31 (edited) There actually are built-in commands for that? Huh. All I know is there are dozens of mods for this. Anyway, assuming the wiki is still up-to-date on those you'd go /worldconfigcreate double cropGrowthRateMul With a number afterwards. Assuming 1 is the normal 100% time, to speed it up you'd go below 1.0. Something like 0.5 to half the growth times. This is for the first use only. If, afterwards, you want to change this value again it'd just be /worldconfig cropGrowthRateMul With the number afterwards. Minimum is 0.1 (10%) and max is 10 (1000%) Edited July 31 by Rainbow Fresh 1
Tyraenez Posted July 31 Author Report Posted July 31 I was thinking that might be how it works, but given its a multiplier setting shouldn't it be values above 1 that decreases growth time? Its the wording that has me confused quite frankly

Higher cropGrowthRateMul reduces the growth time, lower cropGrowthRateMul increases the growth time - it's accurate to the wording in this case. It affects crops as well as fruiting bushes.
