Not possible, at least not in the vanilla game but also I'm not aware of any mods which explicitly change it. Even breaking the block doesn't return anything. You can probably just break it if you actually don't need it, or finish making it if you may use it at some point. Some mods like Fitting and Sharding or Some Disassembly Required allow recycling unwanted pottery, if that is of interest, though they also do more than just that. 2
