Character Height

Hello, I just opened up the game for the first time and my character feels way too low to the ground, is there any way to increase the height so it feels more natural?

Welcome to the game and the community.  To my knowledge there is no way to change the height of the character and I am not quite sure I understand what you are seeing.  Would you be willing to post a screenshot (if you can get a view that best depicts your concern)?  Also, the forum tends to be a bit slower expected response time.  You may want to try their Discord server where they also have a questions chat section if you need quicker feedback.  I log in on occasion and everyone has been super helpful.

I think I "fixed" it using the field of view.  It just seemed I was the same height as one block but widening the view made me feel like I was taller

You can go into the game assets and edit the player.json file.

You can find in your Vintage Sory Program Files at assets\game\entities\humanoid\player.json .

There is a value called : 'eyeHeight' . The higher the value the higher will be your eye height.

Best Back up your player.json and game save file before you do that though.
