As in the title: any way to make double fence gates?
Animals can quite literally find elevation (I don't know if it's snow piles or whatever) and walk on top of single-block-high fences which is why I need double fence walls to keep them in.
Problem is, fence gates don't "stack" and normal doors don't mesh with them at all. Any way to circumvent this?

I've found that putting fence blocks above the gate with a one block gap in-between lets me have a double (or higher) fence and functioning gate without anything getting in or out. Like so (x is fence, g is gate):

I gave up with using fence gates with animals. I now only use a basic ladder above the fence. It's quicker to cross, and no risk to let an animal escape when crossing. If you have snow, you can put this ladder on top of a double fence, you can still reach it.

Any ideas if this has been updated or whether it's still the same case? Regular doors do not seem to fit fences and I would prefer not having to have two layers of gates.
