Jaden Martindale Posted October 2, 2021 Report Share Posted October 2, 2021 I know this is a very common question, but I looked at may threads and could not find a thread where someone had this problem, managed to fix it, and bothered to explain how they did it. Im trying to play LAN with my girlfriend, I enter the IP address for her game and it tells me i need to open port forwarding and gives me error 42420. Jaden Martindale Posted October 2, 2021 Author Report Share Posted October 2, 2021 (edited) So update, I logged into my router's admin, went into port forwarding, and it wants a starting port and ending port, and wont accept 42420 as either. anyone know what do i need to type in there. It wont accept that because "The defined port or port range is in use by another port forwarding or application rule." When She tries to open it up to internet it says "Registration at the master server not successful, and then "Something about a firewall.
