Welcome to The Quire A small, whitelisted Vintage Story world built on one idea: You are what you practice. No bought advantages, no skill trees to plan, nothing you can grind. You do the work, and the day's practice settles into your hands at rest. A rank is not a number you ground out; it is a hand that has learned its trade. How Progression Works Twenty-One Trades: From Metalworking and Cooking to Arcana, Alchemy, and Temporal. An in-game almanac tracks where each stands (your rank and how close you are to the next step), but practice saturates, and a day teaches only so much. Your specialty becomes whatever you actually keep doing. The Path to Mastery: Ranks run from Untrained through Grandmaster. The top rank is earned the guild way: a commission, a masterwork, handed over. Fair Risk: You never buy an edge. Death scatters the day's unbanked practice, but never your established rank. The Closed Beta The world runs on one curated modpack centered around a custom progression mod built and maintained in-house: The Almanac: Trades, Callings & Mastery. We are currently opening a small closed beta to test the world before a wider launch. Expect rough edges, and bring patience for the early days.
