I have already tried those things. But what you mention about the game account and the forum account being separate kind of makes me feel perhaps the issue is related to that. Yet, I have only received one validation email on my email account (Using the same email for the game account and forum account).
I tried to login again and I went to "Reset Password" option, still waiting for the reset password email. I will keep waiting.
I also opened a ticket as well.
Hopefully this will resolve shortly. Perhaps I went too quickly with the registration process, I was impatient to dive in!
