Doesn't even open the terminal, weird...

Hello Everyone! I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask for Linux assistance, but would appreciate some help. I installed Vintage Story following the official Linux guide, and the game does launch when I launch run.sh or Vintagestory in in the install folder. The issue starts when I try to launch it through the .desktop file created by install.sh. As far as I can tell, nothing happens. Ive read through the contents of Vintagestory.dekstop, and it looks correct as far as I can tell. Ive tried googling this, but I cant find any posts about this issue after 30 minutes of google searching. Another small issue, is that the icon is missing from the .desktop entry, Ive had this happen in the past and usually restarting fixes it, but it did not here. I also tried editing the Icon path to "/home/jay/Games/Vintage Story/assets/gameicon.png", so the "s cover the entire line with no changes.
