Hello!
I do 3d models and textures, and know some very basic knowledge on code and content mods, I'm looking for anyone who would like to help me for free, not with any kind of commitment just with whatever free time you wanna give.
The mod is going to have:
- An open hearth furnace multiblock structure, formed like the cementation furnace, which can melt iron into cast iron, and steel into liquid steel, and can fill clay molds with those new molten metals
- Cast iron block, cast iron nails(n strips) and a cast iron pot
- Machines made with cast iron:
- Metal roller for making cheaper metal plates (powered by mechanical power)
- Drill press for making cheaper nails and strips (mech power)
- A way to add more recipes to those two machines in the future
The purpose of this mod is mostly to set up a way for the player to obtain large amounts of metal parts, for other mods that I plan to make in the future.
I'm going to be doing all of the assets, and will slowly work towards the code, but if any coders would like to help i would really appreciate it and would help to teach me more about modding! Thanks.
