As i much I love the sound of food cooking away on a firepit I am also accutely aware of the amount of fuel I am burning through for basic recipes, as a quality of life and also aesthetic request could you include the ability to create a cast iron stove, these are much more efficient where fuel is concerned (a couple of logs could provide enough heat for multiple pots) and they are also good to look at. A handful of Iron Plates, a couple of Hinges and voila! a nice addition to the kitchen.
  2. I have yet to see any Borax, I see from the table that it is a surface ore. I'll give it a go again later today. As for plaster, here in the UK all our plaster is made using Gypsum (it also doubles as a fertiliser),and there is no shortage of it, maybe this could be added as a surface or shallow ore, and plentiful, just so people can create mortar to build, there is always a portion of the playerbase who arent that interested in progression, they much rather make nice bases etc.
  3. 2nd day spent looking for limestone and I'm burnt out. 4 hours yesterday and then 3 this morning and I cannot see me coming back until something is done about this grind. And this is me self isolating, if this had been a normal day with me having around 2 hours for gaming per night then I would have dropped the game sooner. This item is not something you can work around ingame, I need the leather for armor so I can go deep dive the caves, there is no work around. Either increase the amounts that are generated or link them to specific biomes
  4. I think a solution that runs alongside the 'cellar' system might work here. We can create a 'Smithy'. Inside the 'Smithy' the Blacksmiths metal working tools (Currently just the Hammer) lose durability at reduced rate, also Charcoal burns for longer in the Forges. The pre-requisites for the 'Smithy' are a minimum of 1 forge, an anvil, Stone floors (Not Cobble), Stone Walls and a roof. Down the line when Steel becomes a thing can we add a forge that requires bellows (Wooden planks, sticks & Leather) that increases the temperature of the forge in order to melt the steel?
