  1. They have slumped shoulders,a snout for a face and when they run they look like little orangutans learning to walk. The ones with horns are alright.
  2. Worked like a charm! That was a lot easier than i remember it being, literally found iron within 2 hours. Thanks!
  3. Titles says it all. I love playing this game and going ham on food production with a basement full of meats, cheese, pies and a ton of veggies but then i lose interest because i know that the only way for me to progress and move on to bigger buildings is to watch a 3 hour guide on prospecting which vaguely explains how you MAY or MAY NOT waste 10 hours of your life sampling rocks every 15 meters in every direction for miles on end. The game goes from a whimsical journey to the equivalent of a day job where you slog away for hours, hoping that the 0.5% tin deposit you've been chasing for the last 2 hours is 3 blocks away from you and not just in the general area the size of Arkansas. Call it skill issue but i think having to read a book in order to understand a mechanic in a game that up to this point basically held my hand with an on hand guide in my back pocket is boring and slows the game down to a crawl. Diving random caves all the way to their very bottom is not only a quick and easy way to meet god even with tin bronze scale armor but also a very quick and easy way to make me not want to play. I need someone to explain prospecting to me like I'm a special needs kid cuz I'm not having a good time chief. If i go down another 10000 meter deep cave with only saltzpyre at the bottom I'm going to shave myself bald.
  4. Yeah it was the land itself... Died and respawned far away and my guy started feeling better almost instantly. F*ck me and I literally just finished the roof.
  5. Here you can see that rift activity is at medium at the moment but when i moved in it was at low. That's the whole reason i decided to build my base here.
  6. Hey,I just started a new world after not playing for like 3 or 4 updates so i'm not sure if what's happening to me is a bug or something very specific i missed in the patch notes. I'm in a constant state of insanity, like, always between 9% and 7% and it keep dropping further. I'm not in the dark. I'm well fed. There are no storms or enemies near by. I was wondering if maybe because my house is made from the cobblestone i took from a church, maybe the stone is cursed or something? But then why is it going down even when i'm far away from my house and it's all nice and sunny outside? Did the game add character traits? Did i roll the first dude with schizophrenia? Oh btw this wasn't happening while i was looking for a spot for my house,it happened AFTER i built the damn place. Thanks in advace.
  7. Why can i hear the rain and sometimes even see it when I'm inside my house? It's like the game thinks i'm hiding in a 1x1 hole in the dirt. In winter my armor stand frost over like It's been sitting outside since December. Is this a bug? Is my house not being ''recognised'' as a house? What is going on?
  8. Capes. Not the minecraft kind. The king kind. The ones that cover your shoulders and drag on the ground just lil bit. That knighhood swag nowatimsayin? If i spent 40+ hours building a castle and another 15+ making silver plate armor i deserve to have a blue, royal cape. That is all.
  9. Might i add that the reason the weapon has so many drawbacks is so that it remains as a fun weapon with a very niche use and not as a main way to defend one's self. It's also kinda realistic given the time period the game takes place in which is the 13th century. Prototype guns came in all shapes and sized as far as the 11th century but were mostly used as a show of force due to them being garbage and an absolute nightmare to maintain. Make no mistake,i love the game the way it is and would not have it any other way. it's a game for building and exploration and i will NOT demand that the way the game is played be changed in a way that would ruin it for you. The reason i'm saying this is because i've noticed a lot of people with badly drawn fursonas as their profile pictures suggesting steampunk powered weapons or outright machine guns. I hate that. That is not what i want. This is a gorgeous game about survival, building and exploration at it's core and it will always BE like that.
  10. A very crude, horribly inaccurate, pain in the butt to maintain BUT devastating, single shot flintlock pistol. Difficult to make and almost not worth the trouble 80% of the time. Makeshift gunpowder should be an absolute CHORE to make with finding the materials needed being only half the pain, the other half would be making it. Naturally It would be made out of iron as to ensure a fresh spawn player will not be able to get their hands on it easily. While all types of wood could be used i think it's fair to use some of the rarer types. A single shot kill on pretty much anything other than bears and all driffers besides the basic one. As with all flintlock weapons, firing rate should be infuriatingly slow and the consistency between shots would be achieved with the speed of a Bulgarian trying to play TF2 on a Chinese server at midnight with very high ping...slow and tedious. Ammo would be made out of lead for the sake of scarcity. Reloading would slow basic movement speed to ensure a ''high risk/high reward'' mentality when the weapon is used. -EXAMPLE- "i missed a shot on a drifter at night and now that i cannot just run away he and his buddies will use the next 5 to 10 seconds to teach me the definition of the word ''consent'' and how they don't believe in it." A weapon with so many drawbacks it's almost safer to go out at night with nothing but a torch than risking missing a shot on a double headed drifter. I love it.
