Underbelly

Hello, We've recently started a server using the new worldgen parameters to create big oceans. We hoped to get around on rafts, but they are painfully slow (this will probably not be a problem in the future when new boats come along, but it is an issue now.) We tried combing through the game files in search of the raft's movement parameters to mod it, but we came up short. Does anyone know if it's possible to change its speed value? Or is it baked into the game's library in some way. I'd appreciate any input you guys can give me, thanks!
