Figured it out, windows had blocked the public route all i had to do was go into windows and allow the public options and it works now -
hello as the title says i've launched my game in single player hit lan, and hit open to internet unchecked the open to public and for some reason after sending my friends my IP address they still can't join and get this error, any help would be appreciated images provided it says when hovering over the show ip "external connections blocked by firewall" not exactly sure what that means as the UPNP is on and my pc allows vintage story
