  1. Oh I see, thanks. Im currently playing in V1.20.12
  2. I dont know, are 15 mods a lot? And what does RC stand for? Aparently my PC is not good enough to run VS without random issues, but this is different as I usually lose a few minutes of gameplay, but I had never lost entities while everything else saved properly.

    I Drowned Bears.

I have seen them wander into the ocean by themselves and never come back. Probably they only needed a hug...
  4. So, I was enjoying the sea in my sailboat when my game crashed (as it does way too often). When I logged back in the boat had dissapeared. I checked the area from the place I first got into the boat to where I crashed and didnt find it. The same happened to me some time after with a raft. Now im afraid to make a new one, risking randomly losing the flax of an entire year plus all I may carry in the chests. Has this happened to anybody else? Any clues?
  5. Just posting to say leather armor is very underrated. I "discovered" it in my last world, 1.19, and wolves just stoped being dangerous. I completed my set with a blackguard sword, an iron shield and a bow. Killing them in 3 hits, I can land 2 hits on them while getting hit only once, for arround 2hp, before they start running. Then I use my bow to finish the job. With the shield you can tank bigger packs and even a bear if you are lucky and dont panic. Easy to make (if you find limestone), cheap to maintain, with no penalties and enough protection. That way I can save my flax for more critical things in the first-second year, like windmills or warm clothes. This way, by the time I can craft a gambeson I dont feel its very useful anymore.
  6. I think the same happens to me but im not sure 100%, I will keep an eye on them. I keep my musk ox in diferent pens and i think some got mixed a couple times. It may have something to do with rendering and player distance?
  7. Genuinely shocked. In my house, a good siced cockerel cooked in stew, was more than enough for a 4 people meal. Them droping a feather now an then like they do with eggs would be cool too. Its nice to give options for people that doesnt like hurting animals, even in a game.
  8. I would settle with a reduced winrate for the lower gen rooster. I swear its at 95%
  9. Wow, how mutch do you people need to eat in real life? It is true modern pouldry has a lot of fat and water so its less nutritous than it used to be, but IRL, an adult bird should feed a "normal" person for minimun 4-5 meals, mutch more if you have vegetables to make a proper meal
  10. Focus first on making a hammer and a pickaxe mold out of clay and use the surface nuggets you find to forge your first set. Then with the copper pickaxe you can return to the place where you find the nuggets and dig down to find some more copper ore. Lastly use your hammer to get more nuggets fron the mined ore. When you have enough you can focus on casting the anvil. Its very expensive to make, so using paned or surface copper will take you a lot of time.
  11. It happened something similar to me. Got a regular harvest from a 8 plot farm, but next one was EXTREMELY slow in 7 of the 8 blocks (not using the same nutrient group). I believe its just rng, but not really sure
  12. I am currently playing in the artic with underground farming on, and at y=1 I get arround +20°C compared to the surface. It makes a really big diference!
  13. Yeah absoultely. Im taking for granted people hoard berry bushes for their gardens. I have arround 2 stacks of both black and red currants, plus arround the same amount of cranberries amd some white currants. It is more than enough to keep your fruit nutrition full all year arround, but not as good for brewing. To produce aqua vitae in decent amounts I think fruit trees are the way.
  14. Absolutely! The only wrong way to play a game is not having fun. I also undestand its a work in progress. But even if I like farming and cooking the most in VS, and try to enjoy the grind, I suspect these jobs will need some rebalance in the future.
  15. Bighorns may not have a lot of wool to use, but some of the goats and deer added do! Also some goats are distinct wild species and others are different breeds of the domestic goat, this feature could be expanded to just add sheep
