Dude you dont even know how disappointing it is to find out i cant walk on the boat i just spent building though its still a nice addition to long travel options, especially when there is massive bodies of water on my world.
Also @WolvenCreator has a good point, having a big cargo/warship would be awesome to just live in, but modding that into life would be one hell to get it to work right, for example physics of Player-deck, animal-deck or being able to place a lot of blocks, maybe even some kind of maintenance needed to seal the gaps between the planks over time, just like real wooden ships need to be sealed. And optimizing everything to not make such an impact on fps is probably the hardest thing to do.
