i know i may get some flack for this request, im sure people use it in singleplayer and such. But ive been trying to make a mod that requires 3rd person, and being able to see everything underground kind of ruins the whole point. Ive been tinkering for days a modded way to "black out" these areas, and it doesnt ever work. So just simply requesting the X-Raying to be fixed, or like when the camera is clipped through a wall- maybe just have that area of blocks surrounding the camera render in so it's not possible
