Hopefully the developers see this and implement it into the game. Honestly wouldn't be hard to do.

I like the idea of a physical fitness mechanic. Maybe more game hours on a certain activity would boost your stats in that field. For example, a lot of hours running would increase running speed, and the same with mining and fighting. It would be cool if certain abilities unlocked after hours of gameplay doing it. Like better terrain travel/parkour the more time you spend running and jumping, or more accurate prospecting the more you mine.

I think it would be something to look forward to for committed players. Imagine joining for the first time and seeing other players have an advantage over you. It would inspire you to spend more hours to increase your stats, and add more long-term value to the game.

So a proficiency system like the first borderlands? That would be awesome instead of gun types it improves action type.

New TabIt is a sandbox survival game, not just a sandbox game. It should force you to do things. The default survival game mode should not have a completely skipable night imo, as it defeats a lot of the purpose of the night. Being just able to skip the night defeats the purpose of building up defenses, a simple fence and permanent light. It degrades the purpose of crafting armor. The bed is what ruined the Minecraft survival experience for a lot of people, as the game became too easy with it. And players can do things at night time, it's the best time to do the crafting and smelting, prepare food, decorate the interior of your base. Once a player crafted some basic wooden laminar armor, the night isn't even that scary anymore as drifters are not even a threat anymore.

Quality of life features are generally a good thing, but this wouldn't be a quality of life thing, it would be a major gameplay change, that would also only effect single player.

I'm however not against some world creation setting or mods that allow you to sleep through the night, this is just about the default survival mode.

I think that the game should have game presets for different types of people Creative, Conquest, Adventure, Survival and Hardcore.<Easiest to Hardest>

Creative: Cheats. For creating things and testing stuff out.

Conquest: Focus on exploration and building with simplified and increased resource yield. For people who just want to build a 40 foot golden cock and ball on top of their lava fortress.

Adventure: Light Survival similar to conquest but not as much. For people who want to chill and don't want to grind and just enjoy this serene game.

Survival: Default current Survival preset with more survival elements such as oxygen meter water meter and sanity meter.

Hardcore: Survival with one life and inventory system like the Carry Capacity mod, but with % slow per kg carried and reduced resource yields from drops and why not have a wave of enemies that come by your home every 7 days like the epic siege mod from Minecraft in there too where you have to build a proper base to survive and every second is a gift and life is terrible because why not. For people that love to grind and want the world to hate them.

I am not being completely serious btw but it would be cool to have that Hardcore preset for shits and giggles.

Another Linux user here. While I don't have the time to properly playtest right now (just found the mod and decided that I wanted to try it in my game), I did have the time to quickly start up my game and see if the tool molds this mod adds are there - and they are. I can also stack knife tool heads and create sticks out of boards and firewood, so I'm assuming that the mod works on my Linux game, unless you're having a more specific issue than just "doesn't work", Nariel?

Tools heads don't stack but stamps are there I am going to download and try again.

  5. Remove 3rd person strafe mode and add Dark Souls-like lock on but locks on to what you are pointing at and puts you in strafe mode. Something I thought up while I was roaming in third person and loving how nice the game is but is a bit hard to break blocks you know something for those who like to play in 3rd person mode it's not something I actually care for but would be nice when I am doing dumb labor I can enjoy the environment. Also you guys should try to make a Minecraft x Dark Souls hybrid for a second game.

🌸  This is also good for accessibility. Some people have difficulty holding down a key than others. A menu tab for accessibility would be a good way to implement making such things as optional settings.

I feel that the sneak key would be the first priority for this treatment tho because it's easier to hold control than shift because of where the buttons are placed.  💖

Yeah sneak just needs to have a toggle option, while sprinting needs to be made modern like most fps games.

  7. Hello, I have a suggestion make sprinting not require holding down the button at all times it is kind of annoying having to hold it down and making it linger while movement is active would be a nice Quality of Life change.

Also controller support and hybrid controls(Controller and K&M mixed controls) support would be nice not necessary, but appreciated.
