  1. Im terribly sorry for my english as it is not my main language and im writing this in a hurry during work. Just that. I want to acomplish some goals with this one: Give more life to Meteoric Iron since everyone likes it so much as we see people prize full meteoric armor over steel armor so much Create a new tier of metal to be used in 1.22 Give more uses to borax Reason to make and use some new powered machine in 1.22, like a metal press or a different hammer. Before going into super alloys with Chromium, Manganese, Platinum, or even Stainless Steel, lets do Damascus Steel. Meteoric Iron is so nice, and ''rare'', its such a shame to let it be forgotten after getting steel, the solution beign create a simple damascus with common Steel. It can give more life to Meteoric Iron and Borax. Process: Place a hot plate of steel, and on top of that sprinkle borax, after that, a hot plate of meteoric iron, hit it with a steel hammer a few times, then more borax, and another plate of steel and more hammering. | Steel | | Meteoric Iron | | Steel | Then, maybe some new machine from the mechanical power in 1.22 to press it, fold it, idk, and ta-da, you got yourself a Meteoric Steel Damascus ingot. Oh, we can have a 70/30 chance of success since artesanal damascus made folding steel can actually delaminate and fail. Maybe after the ingot is formed it needs to be cooked in a beehive kiln for consolidation / heat treat. To use the ingot, you would need a steel hammer, and steel anvil of course. This skyrim mod illustrates the concept for armor using this damascus ingot/plate/chain, but in VS it will have the meteoric iron white with its charming spots/sprinkles trough it. Damascus tools would also be epic. Uh? Uh? What about that?
  2. I'm terrible sorry if I cant express myelf right, english is not my main language. New content is always nice of course, new story, new places, new tech tier, but every time new content arrives there is a need to do a restart and for me it kills the fun. You can play the same file forever of course, but not everything will generate right, world gen is always diferent, loot table changes a lot making you regret explore before the update and so on so on. I really dont like have to go to unexplored/ungenerated parts of the map to see the new things. Maybe world gen and loot tables can be ''finished'' (I know this is EA and this kind of game is always changing) so we can at least keep our worlds for a little longer? Why I'm talking about this? Because everything is pointing into some changes in world gen in the future, since we need more places to use the boat, the elk and the overall jankness of the actual terrain generation, so there is no incentive to play on a ''permanent world'' right now when in the next months I could have a way way cooler map with new features? Like, we know rivers and default oceans will come in some manner, so why invest time and effort now? Thats why I'm talking about set the world gen into a fixed and more ready state. I alds really do believe we need more polish and integration of some QoL mods into the base game. These mods should be integrated in the base game, they bring so much QoL into your gameplay. Primitive Survival (at least some parts of it) QP Chiseling Carry On Stone Quarry Better Firepit (Firepit fix) Medieval Expansion (come on team, give us Cows!!!) Simple HUD Clock And the enhancement of the existing systems, like taming, tailoring and cooking, it can be way more complex... There is a lot of wasted potential on the village also, a simple quest and reputation system could be implemented so we can always have a reason to come to the village... They could request raw supplies, crafted items, rare things (meteoric iron) and so on.
