Not a unique idea. Every multiplayer server has an economy but its hard to fake it as being useful to anyone that is playing a game that can be "beat" via solo play after a few weeks of playtime. The base game is about self-reliance.

You literally need to copy some zip files over to replace the old ones. Not much else to be said.

The server is still cooking along with player made villages, a highway project, and very shortly we will be building an official server town together. I will be looking into how I can semi-regularly reset Resonance Archives so that even new players on the server can have a shot at it.

Are you guys using the command line in game, or editing the serverconfig.json manually? I was tricked by the serverconfig file because the whitelist true/false turns out to be deprecated. You need to set the whitelist mode to "1" for off or "2" for on.

Are you saying that you bought the game for $22 and assumed it came with free server hosting?

Server has been updated to 1.20.3 this morning, still a great chance to join a growing community with lots of friendly people and a no wipe map you can build on.

Yesterday we hit 20 concurrent players! A small village is forming in the north and trade routes are starting organically. It's been pretty fun an interesting to play with both new and experienced players. Still not too late to join a fresh, untamed map, and be part of it!

Hey, I just started a brand new 1.20.1 server at the beginning of this month. We are growing steadily but not too big, everyone is still working on their starter bases but there always seems to be a handful of players online which makes it so much more fun. For mods only BetterSticks, BetterFire, and PlayerCorpse are enabled. These are QoL and don't affect vanilla gameplay very much. Right now there are about 12-15 active players and someone on at almost all hours so because of this I have made the months 20 days long instead of the default of 12. Prospecting Pickaxe node search is enabled.

Not sure if this server ever made it into being, but I am hosting one now, fairly new map, under the same philosophy if anyone is still looking to build a little community.
