  1. Fourth or fifth or sixth. all depends on if we feel good about who we are letting in. ill message you two my discord and will leave it open as i play a private game.
  2. Its about the experience, not what it looks like, lol. We cam play around and design things as we see fit, so it should be interesting... that part is true. to be specific about the 4th person, what I meant was that the server rental is 4 people minimum. Meaning that the smallest package I can rent is for 4 people. i can actually go up on that depending on how many people are interested.
  3. That is fantastic. Minimum number of players for a rented server is 4. I have looked at the pricing for the servers already. We can discuss details of how we want it setup later.
  4. That sounds a lot like myself. Although I do end up using a lot of materials to build, it is not exactly masterpieces. More like, block fortresses with an attempt on artistic expression. To answer your settings question, I like to play with 30 days a season. 10 day head start before the drifters show, tool durability to max, i think it is 300. Common on both tin and copper and a 300% ore show up, thing. I cant remember. But we can always discuss this as I am setting up the server itself and I can set it to something that we both, or all, can agree on. As for Mods, that will depend on 1.13.4 or 1.14. Again, we can chat about which ones we want to put in and which would suite ourselves as and before I am setting it up. Not to put a point on this, but this is all stemmed from councilors telling me I need to be exposed to other people. I am no building master, so most of anything I build will be fairly blocky especially at first. But doing it with someone else and not alone is the point. Having fun surviving while we build up, anything really. I really love Medieval Dynasty, and I have built this wicked village. Building just helps me overall. So yea, we can chat about it all. Oh, and yes we can definitely have it with keep inventory. I normally always just play with whatever settings the other people have on any game, but when it is me and I have the option I personally do keep inventory.
  5. It has been highly recommended that I get together with other people in any way possible. With Covid going on still, and more so my own introvertness, it is extremely hard to get out there. I have become a fan of Vintage Story in the last month since I started playing it. So, I thought I would seek out fellow players to play along with. I am willing to host a server if need be, though not a very large one. To explain the title, this is what I mean. I need to be around LGBTQ friendly individuals. People who are none judgmental and more than willing to play a game with someone of that community, that would be the open minded. Mature minded. That, what I mean by that is I am not a fan of practical jokes that destroy other peoples builds or projects. I personally am a Gemini, so I swing easily from a kid to an adult mentally. But I need to be around those who are mature enough to understand that there is a line not to be crossed. So, my goal for this is to build something together. A village, Mansion, whatever there is that we do. The settings will be set to make it a bit easier all around, the experience is building together. There might be a chance I will record the gameplay, so be advised of that. My channel is like 2 followers but I use it as a type of therapy. If my laptop can handle recording and playing I will. I do have discord, so voice chatting while playing is possible. If interested, just send me a message. I will wait for a few days before deciding on getting a server for myself or not if no one messages me. Otherwise, play on.
  6. So, I have only been playing the game for a few days. But the mechanics of it all seem easy enough to understand. However there has been something that is happening right now in my current game that makes no sense. Ok, I found a nice area where there are mountain peak type protrusions rising up from the ground level. I took one of these valleys and built a den into in. Everything seems find, however.. While doing some hunting for meat, I killed a wolf. While collecting the meat and such I started taking damage. Jumping around I looked to find that I was all alone. There was nothing near me, the blue time wheel thing in the middle was full and not moving at all. My hunger level was at somewhere above 90%. I cannot for the life of me figure out what it was that was hurting me. I was inside one of the valleys, that I know. So, I ran away to my base after collecting the materials and shut down the game and booted back up. Just now I was playing, more hunting. I killed two of the sheep things, ewes I think they are called. This was inside of the valleys near my place. While carving one of them up, I started taking damage again. This is a different valley than before mind you. So, I finish up what I am doing quickly and exit the valley. I am looking for shimmers, or some kind of distortion. I cant find anything. Here is also the thing. When I run around in that same valley, I take no damage whatsoever. I can jump and run and be fine. It is when I stop and stand there, I start taking damage. Just outside of the valley entrance, I can stand there and I am fine. But the moment I move into the valley, I start getting injured. Again, the blue time wheel thing is full and not rotating in any direction. My hunger level is above 90%, my character profile says that my nutrition is meat is around 40% and vegetables is near 10%, the other 2 are empty. There are no animals around, not even bunny rabbits. No distortions or shimmers to indicate an invisible enemy. I am completely at a loss to what it is that is happening. I cannot find anything online about this happening to anyone else. If any of you other players know what it is that is happening, please let me know. My own little valley seems perfectly fine. I take no damage while I am there, I take no damage elsewhere as I search for materials. Like hunting down and map marking copper and other ores, I can stand there for a good long while and nothing will happen. I can cut down trees elsewhere and I am fine. It is just, at the very least, these two valleys near my base of operations that I take damage from some unseen force. If this is a normal thing, a normal game mechanic, than I dont want to bother the devs with a bug ticket. But if it turns out to be a bug, I can send them a copy of this description and go from there. Thank you to any who decide to give me any information on these incidents.
