    You know that big lake in the center of the Netherlands? Portions of that were dammed in the 2nd half of the 20th century. And rabbits swam there. Of course, in some areas, the distance to the mainland is less than 200m across water.

    You welcome the breeze as you emerge into this clearing, although you prefer to stay on the edge of the swaying foliage, where the shade protects you from the heat of the sun.
