Also curious if there was ever a solution to this? As, specifically trying to Host LAN games, absolutely demolishes wifi for seemingly no reason.

I know this post is ancient, but in case anyone comes across it: I was having issues loading saves because they weren't 'writable' and there was actually a hidden instance of Vintage running in the background on my pc. Manually killing it, and starting the program again fixed it.

As the title suggests, what are thoughts on development of a mod for placing custom NPC's similar to the vastly popular Minecraft mod of the same name? I am completely inept at modding, but I adored the Minecraft equivalent for making low-scale adventure maps and quest/storylines. And with the survival aspects of VS, coupled with some mods, I think the potential to create really engaging, unique stories and fun maps to explore is enormous. Either going off the established lore, or even just generating your own. With a particular DnD aspect to them personally, given the options for food and weaponry and just the general vibes of the fantasy aspects of VS. I was curious if a mod like that is even feasible in VS's game limitations?
