Thankfully 1.20.10 just dropped and the absurd amount of spawns addressed in the devlog.
Fixed: Monsters spawning on surface anywhere, when temporal stability is disabled
I'm currently in the process of launching my save after updating while writing this so I will see, but hopeful.
I had a world going on one of the recent versions and only just updated to 1.20.9 stable and the surface spawns have become a nightmare. Turning off temporal rifts did not fix the issue in the slightest. I'm all for having to occasionally fight things at my base, but I'm getting over run and can't do anything at my home/farm anymore. Hoping the natural spawns mod suggestion is a temp fix until something gets patched because I can barely enjoy doing basic tasks without worry of getting mauled instantly by every aggressive entity
@ApacheTech I just want to say that your mod is amazing and I really appreciate all the work and thought you have put into this. It makes the game so much more comfortable to play now. I no longer feel uneasy while at low health.
Which is great and all, but that also removes the beautiful dynamic movement in the plants when the wind blows. I feel that would be better as two separate toggles instead of linked to one that specifically talks about the foliage.
yeah, and then some other ones I've noticed that have triggered my friend are that temporal storms make her sick and then the camera wobble when drinking alcohol in game is really bad. I'm glad that there are accessibility features available, but the camera drift is really steep and is not good for motion sick prone gamers.
While I understand why the camera drift is in place for effect, it can be very nauseating to watch your view pan by itself when on low health. Thankfully I don't get as sick as a couple other people I know, but they are extremely susceptible to motion sickness. It would be nice to have a toggle in the menu like for view bobbing to aid with not getting sick.
