OMG I keep falling down ladders they kill me more than the wildlife.  How do I safely climb down?  You don't know how dumb I feel asking this question.

I know the development is ongoing which is great.  Curious to know if the version updates wreck the current world?

For me I'll be playing solo so how will the experience be?  Will the grind be reasonable, resources needed etc.?  I suck at Minecraft combat how will/is combat be in Vintage Story?  I'm not in a hurry to reach end-game if there is one I just don't want to grind endlessly to accomplish in-game achievements?

Just curious about the mods I watch a Youtuber and he speaks about mods in his game.  He doesn't really go into depth so I was wondering it there were mods you would recommend?
