I am not sure if it is presently on the roadmap but I could see the devs adding it if the community requests it. Hopefully the NPCs will have more to do than minecraft. In the mean time there is a travelling merchants mod that let's you build an inn for merchants to stay at but I am not sure if it's been updated to 1.14.10 Here's hoping they do look into it, Cheers!

Morning Everyone, I am about to go onto a 3 month sail and would like to refrain from buying three months subscription for the server hosted through the website as no one will be using it unless we are all together. As such I was curious that when our server time runs out, will the world still be there for when I purchase the server subscription again? Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

To add onto the above, it seems most spawns are limited. So that you'd probably be relying on the traders for silk seeds to farm rope in a greenhouse and so forth. Pretty much until you get enough rope to make the charcoal to make the green house and get the gears to buy enough seeds you're seemingly stuck to extremely slow progression.

So before I had asked if anyone else noticed that colder temperatures prevented cat tails from spawning. Can anyone verify it's the same with flint? I found the only way to get flint is to pan for it and that's not very efficient.

We did a full vanilla and no cat tails or berry bushes in cold temperature worlds where there are in normal temperatures. Flint is rare outside of sifting and only vines are available.

I appreciate it. Might not be generating in our specific areas which is weird. I am not sure if it's outdated mods but I'll look into that later.

So me and a mate are doing a challenge in a cold temperature climate and have no access to cat tails. We have chalked it up to Linen as loot or vine for rope. My question is more or less does anyone know a good way to get linen seeds in a cold climate outside of vessels in ruins or do vines grow? If vines don't grow can anyone tell me of any mods that allow this please?
