I spent so much time in Minecraft, played with the kids and made a server and everything. Never beat it, just played around and had fun. It became dull and unfun to me when they started adding stuff that didn't make it more fun or interesting. Yeah the bees were cute and all but it didn't make the game more compelling. Went back to Factorio and such for a long time. I found Vintage Story a few days ago and have been playing every day since. It reminds me of the magic MC used to have, and it's teaching me patience and concentration. It looks better too. The cherry on top is how customizable it is for however I want to play. Can't wait to see what's in store! Best gaming purchase I made in years, plus the admins were ultra helpful when I had some install issues. Tops all around.

Thanks Thorfinn! I can't believe I didn't see the big huge "time played" in the saves until you said something about it, appreciate you pointing it out! That being said, I'm still interested in launching it from one of the platforms but only for satisfaction purposes. If there's a way I'd love to know.

I want to track play time but so far I can't get this to work. The VS flatpak is the only installation that works on my system. Dotnet.Mono was not cooperative with MXLinux. Direct launch from /var/lib/flatpak/app/xxxxxx/at.vintagestory.VintageStory.desktop/ works until running from one of the aforementioned launchers. Is there another path to try, or somethign else I'm doing wrong? Thanks
