Seemed it was because of remapping. I disabled the option to map interaction modifiers to sneak and spring and now it works.

Did water handling change? I can't place water from my bucket into holes anymore. Whenever I click the button combination it just does an animation where the wooden bucket gets waved around, but it doesn't place the bucket. I thought it might be an issue because I switched the sneak and sprint buttons around. (Since sprinting is much more common and shift is a more comfortable button than strg), but even switching them back it doesn't work. Can you not place water in the world anymore?
