  1. I've been playing lots with some mods that already have insectigration (insect integration) and I thought it would be fantastic to have worm bins that work with the worms in primitive survival. My current idea is that you would place plant matter (lilypads, seaweed, ferns, flowers etc), sticks, and a peat block or infertile soil block in either a hole or a cauldron of some sort, then add a few worms on top. This would then become a worm bin that, if periodically watered and mixed up (with a hoe or shovel) will produce more worms and fertile soil! Add more plant matter or rot every now and then to top it up, and you have a self-contained bin to get rid of annoying items (like the lilypads and rot) as well as get something nice out of it Another idea similar to this one would be beetle/larvae farming based on this youtube video i love, as a way to create a constant source of protein and feed for livestock/traps X3
  2. I absolutely love this concept!! I wish I was more skilled in coding so I could actually give it a shot x3 would love to make assets for it if anyone else picks it up
  3. Hi guys, first post :)! I recently got the game after watching a YouTuber do a two year play through and I’m obsessed! I love how this game makes modding possible, and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for mods that focus on adding bugs to the game? Particularly if there’s the option to catch and catalogue them, or if the bugs have real uses in the game (regardless of how small an addition it may be) I’m a massive fan of games with beastiaries and cataloguing systems like animal crossing and monster hunter world, so if anyone knows of anything like that for VS let me know too! also, to add on, I’m actually an artist and while I’ve never done voxel based art before, I have experience in 3d and graphic design/pixel art. So if anyone is thinking of making a mod that does add a beastiary or a significant amount of bugs and/or fish, I’d love to volunteer my skills!!! cheers, calico
